It had been a rough patch and he said he wanted to pray before he left.  So he prayed and I went along adding the  "amen," "Yes, That's right," and the "Hallelujuh,"  as appropriate and when led.

At the end there was quiet, until he asked, "Do you want to pray?" 

And I said, "I did."
