On Sunday I worshiped with my congregation.                                                                 We sang praises and prayed and gave offerings                                                             according to how He had prospered us.

And there were testimonies                                                                       almost by all in attendance.                                                                         And again we prayed in preparation for the week to come.

And Saturday I did as He did, I rested.

Acts 20:7 (NIV) 7 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. 

1 Corinthians 16:2-3 (NIV) 2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. 3 Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 

Luke 23:56 (NIV) 56 Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment. 

Hebrews 4:3-4 (NIV) 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, "So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'" And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world. 4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: "And on the seventh day God rested from all his work." 

Genesis 2:2-3 (NIV) 2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
